This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. This site uses Google Fonts, which are provided by Google, for the standardised display of text. Google Fonts are installed locally. No connection is made to Google servers for this purpose.
You can find further information on Google Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s data protection declaration: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
6. OWN SERVICES
Handling applicant data
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g. by email, post or online application form). Information about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected as part of the application process is provided below. We assure you that the collection, processing and use of your data is carried out in accordance with the applicable data protection law and all other statutory provisions, and that your data will be handled in strict confidence.
Scope and purpose of data collection
If you send us an application, we will process the associated personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during interviews, etc.) insofar as this is necessary for the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is § 26 BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act) under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (general contract initiation) and – if you have given your consent – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data will only be passed on to persons involved in processing your application within our company.
If your application is successful, the data you submit will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of § 26 BDSG and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the purpose of establishing the employment relationship.
Data retention period
If we are unable to make you a job offer, or you reject a job offer or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have submitted on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). The data will then be deleted and the physical application documents destroyed. The data is retained primarily as evidence in case of a legal dispute. If it is evident that the data will be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g. due to a potential or pending legal dispute), the data will not be deleted until the purpose for further storage no longer applies.
Data may be retained for longer if you have given your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or if statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
Inclusion in the applicant pool
If we do not make you a job offer, you may have the opportunity to join our applicant pool. If you do, all documents and details from your application will be transferred to the applicant pool so that we can contact you if suitable vacancies arise.
Inclusion in the applicant pool is based exclusively on your express consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Granting of consent is voluntary and is not related to the ongoing application process. The data subject may withdraw their consent at any time. In this case, the data will be irrevocably deleted from the applicant pool, provided there are no legal grounds for retention.
The data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after consent has been granted.
7. OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE
This data protection declaration applies to the following social media sites
https://www.facebook.com/rotorcontrol https://www.instagram.com/rotor_control/ https://www.linkedin.com/company/rotor-control-gmbh/
Data processing by social networks
We maintain publicly accessible profiles on social networks. The individual social networks we use can be found below.
As a rule, social networks such as Facebook, X, etc. can comprehensively analyse your user behaviour when you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g. Like buttons or advertising banners). Visiting our social media profiles triggers numerous data protection-related processing operations. Specifically:
If you are logged into your social media account and visit our social media profiles, the operator of the social media portal can attribute this visit to your user account. However, your personal data may be collected even if you are not logged in or do not have an account with the social media portal in question. This data collection takes place, for example, via cookies that are stored on your device, or by recording your IP address.
Operators of the social media portals use the data collected in this way to create user profiles in which your preferences and interests are stored. This allows interest-based advertising to be displayed to you inside and outside the social media profile in question. If you have an account with the social network in question, the interest-based advertising can be displayed on all devices on which you are or were logged in.
Please also note that we cannot track all processing operations on social media portals. Depending on the provider, further processing operations may thus be carried out by the operators of the social media portals. For details, please refer to the terms of use and data protection provisions of the social media portals in question.
Legal basis
Our social media offerings are designed to ensure the most comprehensive online presence possible. This counts as legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The analysis processes initiated by social networks may have different legal bases, which must be specified by the operators of the social networks (e.g. consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Controllers and establishment of rights
If you visit one of our social media sites (e.g. Facebook) we, together with the operator of the social media platform, are jointly responsible for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. You can exercise your rights (information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and complaint) both in relation to us and in relation to the operator of the social media portal in question (e.g. in relation to Facebook).
Please note that, despite bearing joint responsibility with social media portal operators, we do not have full influence on the data processing procedures of the social media portals. Our options depend largely on the company policy of the provider in question.
Storage period
The data we collect directly via the social media profile will be deleted from our systems as soon as you ask us to delete it, as soon as you revoke your consent to storage, or as soon as the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your device until you delete them. This does not affect mandatory statutory provisions, and in particular retention periods.
We have no influence on the storage period for your data that the operators of the social networks store for their own purposes. For further information about this, please contact the operators of the social networks directly (for example, see their data protection declaration referenced below).
Your rights
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to object, the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Furthermore, you can request the correction, blocking, deletion and, under certain circumstances, the restriction of processing of your personal data.

B. in deren Datenschutzerklärung, siehe unten).
